HP Digital Printing ContestHewlett Packard is currently accepting entries for its HP Indigo Digital Printing Contest, but the March 31 deadline is fast approaching. This contest showcases the high quality and innovative results that can be achieved using HP Indigo digital presses. The contest is open to all HP Indigo commercial press users and their customers - and there is no submission fee or limit on the number of entries users can submit.

Categories for the contest include: marketing collateral, photo specialty, direct mail/transpromo and publications. There is also a category for "special processes," highlighting jobs printed with extreme or demanding criteria, as well as one for "environmental," showcasing work with an environmental message or produced on recycled media. A panel of respected experts will judge the entries.

"Our last contest in 2008 received more than 450 entries from 31 countries and included breakthrough examples of the advantages HP Indigo presses have to offer," says Alon Bar-Shany, vice president and GM, Indigo division, HP. "This year we expect to see even higher quality and a broader range of media types as our most innovative customers push the envelope on what digital presses can produce."

Up to three winners will be announced for each category at a gala awards dinner during May's IPEX trade show in Birmingham, England. Entries will also be displayed at HP's IPEX booth. For more information and details on how to enter, log in to your "My HP Indigo" online customer portal.
