Kompac Technologies is celebrating its 30th year in business. The company is a manufacturer and supplier of graphic arts industry products such as coating, drying and dampening systems. Since first Kompac Dampening System was installed in 1980, more than 100,000 have been sold - making it the number one retrofit dampening system in the world.
Thirty years ago, the first Kompac Dampening System was installed on an AB Dick 360. Since then, Kompac has expanded its product line to include more than 150 models from press manufacturers such as AB Dick, Ryobi, Hamada, Multigraphics, Adast, Heidelberg, Fuji, Sinohara and Goss, to name a few.
For more than 20 years Kompac Dampening Systems and products have been manufactured and distributed as part of the global pressroom chemistry company Varn International. These include Varn System, Varn Kompac and also Kompac Automatic Dampening System.
