BL Litho chooses Fujifilm XMF Workflow

BL-Litho-lgBL Litho, a Montreal-area commercial and digital printer, has recently invested in a Fujifilm XMF workflow. The latest Adobe PDF Print Engine is incorporated into the XMF, providing multiple viewing options including 3D simulation, with enhanced handling and approval process.


The Montreal-area sheet-fed printer chose the XMF workflow from Fujifilm for some of its unique productivity boosting features. The company's prepress department is reportedly very pleased with the new investment.

The latest Adobe PDF Print Engine is incorporated into the Fujifilm XMF, providing multiple viewing options including 3D simulation, with enhanced handling and approval process. Additionally, with the integrated JDF imposition server, BL Litho has noticed a higher level of automation in the imposition process, saving them time.

BL Litho's services range from on-demand offset jobs to short-run digital, including personalized variable printing services. The company's equipment includes an 8-colour KBA Rapida 150 and two Xerox iGen 4s.
