Coming up on March 1st: GCM Job Fair

GCMJobFair-lgRyerson's Graphic Communications Management (GCM) program hosts an annual job fair for graduating students, as well as students looking for an internship. Last year, 62 companies attended from the GTA and as far away as Ohio, BC and Ottawa. This year's event is coming up on March 1st.

GCM's Job Fair helps companies meet prospective third year summer interns, as well as fourth year graduating students. Interviews are held in quick 10-minute "speed dating" style segments. Each employer can meet up to 24 students in a single evening.

At this year's event, taking place on Thursday, March 1st, employers can interview graduating students from 4:00-6:00pm and third year interns from 7:00-9:00pm -- with a hot buffet dinner held in between at 6:00.

A news bulletin from Ryerson mentions: "GCM students are available for work in late April, and are already excited to explore their opportunities."

If your company is considering hiring a summer intern or graduate, you can register online here. For more information, contact Taras Karpiuk at 416-979-5050 or tkarpiuk@ryerson.ca. You can also head to gcmjobfair.com.
