ConvenienceGroup-lgToronto-based Convenience Group has recently enhanced its production capabilities with the installation of an HP Designjet L25500 printer. The company specializes in architectural and window film, with clients in the property, facility, and retail management fields.

With strong ties with the architectural and interior design community, Convenience Group is often called upon to revamp corporate office spaces. The company offers solutions that include branding, media campaigns, image enhancement applications and way-finding signage on a variety of substrates such as backlit signage and vinyl film for wrapping applications.

"HP Latex Inks are advantageous for our backlit applications," said Vahid Seyfaie, graphic operations manager of Convenience Group. "The translucency of the ink is very appealing because it allows the light to shine through the colours. The second advantage of HP Latex Inks is their flexible properties and the fact that they sit on top of vinyl film which allows the ink to conform during wrapping applications without cracking.

In addition to helping the company grow their business, improve project turnaround times and increase control on the quality of output, the HP Designjet Printer was able to provide Convenience Group Employees with a more environmentally-responsible workplace. HP's Latex inks are water-based, containing no hazardous air pollutants. They also don't require any special ventilation equipment or external dryer to be installed.

Colin MacLeod, product marketing manager at Convenience Group, noted: "The environmentally responsible benefits were the real trigger for purchasing the HP Designjet L25500 Printer soon after our demo. Being able to provide our employees a safe, comfortable work environment is paramount for us."
