PxlworksFujifilmInstall-lgA new Fujifilm Acuity Advance LT has recently been installed at Pxlworks, a large format digital print service provider based in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. The six-year-old company provides advertising and marketing promotion printing to design firms and high-tech companies in their community.

Pxlworks had been considering a UV flatbed printer for the last five years, as they already had five roll printers doing the majority of their work. Rodney Groulx, senior parter at Pxlworks said: "We were in search of an affordable and upgradable flatbed printer that would produce a quality product which would meet or exceed the demands of our clients for direct to substrate print applications, while at the same time, cutting down our production time and material costs."

After doing some research, the firm decided on the Fujifilm Acuity, noting that this device was the only one to meet all of their requirements. Groulx continued: "We are not just in the business to make money, we take pride in the quality of our work from day one and we have stood behind the belief that if we provide our customers with quality products, the work will follow."
