Ricoh Americas Corp. has introduced two new full-colour digital imaging systems for printers and in-plants. The Ricoh Pro C5100S and C5110S production imaging systems print and copy up to 65 ppm and 80 ppm respectively, producing quality output that can be collated and finished inline. The devices are aimed at helping businesses launch their first production printing programs.
A new toner formula increases printable colour gamut by 10% compared to Ricoh’s other colour production printers, says the OEM, and has a lower fusing temperature for faster warm-up times and reduced energy consumption. The devices are the first to deliver higher-quality imaging on heavier textured media, and can save more than 60 attributes to a single Media Library selection to boost productivity.
“Ricoh has integrated proven imaging and paper-handling technologies from the Ricoh Pro C651EX/C751EX Series and the recently launched Ricoh Pro C901 GA+ that results in an affordable solution that can handle a wide range of printing applications, from linen stocks to envelopes,” said Tim Vellek, Vice President, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “Using advanced configured finishing options, customers can produce finished documents that are ready for distribution without any manual intervention,” he added.
