Epson America’s new WorkForce Pro WF-R8590 and WF-R5690 multi-function printers (MFPs) and the WF-R5190 printer deliver up to 75,000 printed pages in both black & white and colour before the ink needs to be replaced. These printing solutions allow customers to print high-impact colour documents with low operating costs and intervention rates.

“Epson’s revolutionary approach transforms office printing by allowing businesses to focus on running their business, not on managing printer supplies,” said Larry Trevarthen, Director, Business Imaging, Epson America. “Epson’s new printing solutions allow IT managers to bring affordable colour printing to remote offices and workgroups while reducing the hassles normally associated with printer management.”

The WorkForce Pro WF-R5690 MFP and WF-R5190 printers deliver print speeds up to 20 ISO ppm (black & white and colour), a 580-sheet capacity, and include the ink to print up to 50,000 sheets before requiring replacement.

The new WorkForce Pro models feature Epson PrecisionCore technology, built-in connectivity features – including Ethernet, USB, wireless b/g/n2 and Wi-Fi Direct2 to print easily from tablets and smartphones, as well as remote printing and access to the Cloud. Additional features include IT tools such as remote setup and custom settings for multiple printers, and support for popular security protocols to protect confidential documents.
