Please mark Thursday, June 11 on your calendar. That’s the date of the Digital Imaging Association’s Annual Golf Tournament – a chance once again for fun, camaraderie, great food and warm weather in beautiful surroundings. (Yes, warm weather finally!). The popular yearly event will take place once again at beautiful St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club, 368 St. Johns Sideroad East in Aurora, Ontario. Registration begins at noon with practice session, Titlest workshop and driving range available any time after 11:30 am. There’ll be a 1:30 pm shotgun start in a foursome team scramble format. A delicious dinner buffet of roast beef and chicken will be served at 6:30 pm. There’ll also be a lucky prize draw, a putting contest – as well as prizes for the longest drive, closest to the pin and best overall score.

Win $10,000 cash: That’s the prize if you get a hole in one, sponsored by KBA.

To register contact Marg Macleod at marg@digitalimagingassoc.ca. Cost is $210 per golfer (includes cart per twosome, sign-in gift, game and dinner).

The review of St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club on Golf Gear Hub describes it as a Four-Star-Rated 18-hole course located 10 minutes from Hwy 404 or Hwy 400. In addition to its 7,300-yard course, amenities include a driving range, a 2,000-square-foot putting green and a chipping area all within sight of the first tee – so there’s no worrying or wondering about when it’s your turn to tee it up.

Other features include a well-stocked Pro Shop with an adjacent Player’s Grill and Lounge Area, an outdoor patio that overlooks the course, a 2,500-square-foot Mission-style clubhouse that features a fireside dining area, and an expansive veranda that offers a panoramic view of the course. Large and small meeting rooms are well suited to accommodate groups from 24 to 80.
