EPPY Awards entries due August 28

eppyawards-inThe EPPY Awards, presented by Editor & Publisher, honour the best media-affiliated websites in 31 separate categories. Now in its 20th year, this international contest has broadened its scope to keep up with the ever-changing Internet industry. The deadline for entering submissions is Friday, August 28, 2015. The winners will be announced on editorandpublisher.com Wednesday, October 28. In addition to presenting awards to the media industry, the EPPY Awards recognize excellence in college and university journalism, with awards being given in three different categories including Best College Newspaper Website. All entries are judged by a panel of notable figures in the media industry, chosen by the staff of Editor & Publisher.

The competition is open to media companies that operate Internet services on the World Wide Web. In addition, one category of the competition is open to College and University Newspapers that offer an affiliated website. A non-refundable $230 entry fee is required per category, and each submission thereafter is $200 when entered at the same time. In the College/University categories, all entries are $100 each. Entries must be submitted via the EPPY Awards website. Eligible websites must have been available on the Internet at any time during the period of April 1, 2014 through August 28, 2015. Entries that contain original reporting and/or content, etc. must have first appeared on your website at any time during the period of April 1, 2014 through August 28, 2015. All judging will occur on the Internet.
