Since 1955 the Sign Association of Canada has successfully promoted the welfare of the sign industry, improved the status of its members in the community and benefited the users of signs. However, the traditional boundaries of the sign industry have expanded due to the rapidly changing level of technology and the evolution of the commercial marketplace. The Sign Association of Canada has recognized these trends and has also partnered with related industries and sectors that use, design and manufacture commercial images.
