Foster (Montgomeryville, PA), a major supplier of cutting devices and other post-press equipment for over 65 years, has released its Low Profile On-a-Roll Lifter – a new lower-profile roll lifter for handling wide or heavy media rolls, particularly those used with grand-format and wide-format printers. The new design adds ergonomic features that enable operators to quickly and effortlessly lift media as heavy as 660 lbs. (300 kg) and as wide as 16.4 ft. (5 m). The new lifter is ideal for HP Latex 3000, 3100 and 3500 Series Printers.

“Our new Foster Low Profile On-a-Roll Lifter permits a single wide-format press operator to manipulate large, heavy media rolls – even in shops with limited floor space,” said Foster CEO Ted Borowsky. “The rugged construction guarantees long lifter life, and a new ergonomic pull bar reduces operator effort. Foster is an HP Partner, and the new lifters are available through HP dealers worldwide,” he added.

fosterrolllifter1-inThe company also offers a complete selection of quality, precision Keencut cutters and trimmers for wide-format, sign-making and display graphics production. As a worldwide HP partner, Foster provides a complete line of lifters for handling large media rolls used in grand-format and large-format printing. Its products are distributed through an extensive network of qualified graphic arts equipment dealers, and are also available from selected OEMs.
