The Paradigm Imaging Group (Costa Mesa, CA), a leading distributor of large-format scanning and printing solutions, has released its new Rocket II Scanner Controller that “takes large-format scanning and copying to a whole new level,” said the company. The new device “brings performance, ease of use and excellent scan quality for graphic arts, fine art, photography, prepress, reprographics, point of purchase, GIS, mapping, CAD, AEC and document archiving applications.” Ideal for for large-format copying, the Rocket II features an optimized architecture that delivers “the best possible performance from large-format scanners.” Supporting several large-format printers from leading OEMs, its Rocket RIP Scanner Controller provides high-speed image processing via Intel Pentium 4 Processors and upgraded graphics capabilities. The new scanner is network-ready “which makes it the fastest and more affordable large-format scanner solution.”
