U.S.-based Case Paper Company has released a new swatchbook featuring Primalith, a premium line of silk and gloss finishes in both text and cover weights available in standard sheet sizes, sheeter rolls or web rolls. The swatchbook also includes each finish and caliper. With an ultra-smooth surface and high opacity, Primalith is ideal for magazine covers, invitations, brochures, catalogues and high-end books. It’s compatible with most digital printers, is FSC-certified, contains 10% post-consumer fibre and uses chlorine-free pulp. Case Paper can cut rolls and sheets to any size and also provides inventory management and solutions-based expertise.

Swatchbook designer Patrick King of King Group Media used a minimal colour palette as well as a simple design of negative space, full-page bleeds and food-oriented photos cropped against white that bring the viewer through “a day of culinary delights.” Photographer Dominic Episcopo’s palette of colours and textures showcases the paper’s versatility, durability and brightness and “superbly illustrates its excellent dot definition, especially with heavy ink coverage.”

casepaperprimalith1-in“We’re honoured to release this new line of paper,” said Simon Schaffer, CMO and Vice President of Business Development at Case Paper. “Graphic designers will appreciate the paper’s superb stiffness and how well ink lays down on its surface, while printers will cheer at being able to get custom-sized sheets quickly.” Established in 1943, Case Paper Company is one of the largest privately-held distributors and converters of paper and board for the packaging and printing industries. It has divisions in California, Pennsylvania, New York, Chicago, Texas, Florida and North Carolina.
