Commercial Digital Print, with locations in St. Catharines, Beamsville and Stoney Creek, Ontario, has invested in the Duplo DC 616 Pro automatic slitter, cutter, creaser and perforator from Sydney Stone. “We had looked at this type of equipment for some time and it offered us enhanced automation and less touches by our team to finish work,” said owner Ken Hildebrand. “We had a great training session from Sydney Stone and are pleased with the results and output. ”

“The Duplo DC 616 is such a natural fit in most digital print environments. We were pleased to help Ken in making the decision to purchase the Duplo by offering a fair trade-in for some equipment that he had on hand which was not being used,” said Michael Steele from Sydney Stone. The Duplo DC 616 Pro is an Automatic slitting/cutting/creasing and perforating device. With easy set-up and automation, Commercial Digital Print will be able to produce everything from business cards (24-up on a 12” x 18” sheet) to postcards, tear-off tickets and booklet covers – all in a single pass.

Commercial Digital Print is a full-service reprographics and digital printing company with roots dating back to 1946 as Commercial Photo Copy – which at that time served the architectural, engineering and construction industries providing quality blueprints. The shop continued to evolve and its most recent change has been the addition of Action Print to its group of companies. Action Print, established in 1994, is a full-service commercial printing company that offers a wide variety of print services, both offset and digital.

sscommercialdigital1-inSydney Stone was established in 1951 and, since that time, has grown to become one of the premier Canadian distributors of Print Finishing Equipment and Supplies throughout the world.
