With over 25 years’ experience in printing and operations management, Jason Elliott will now oversee the new equipment sales efforts of the commercial web product sector for Manroland Web Systems North America, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois. Elliott replaces Roland Ortbach who retired recently.

In his new role as Vice President of Sales, Elliott will be responsible for promoting not only Manroland Web Systems’ commercial offset press products, but also the company’s digital inkjet finishing products. Elliott also maintains responsibility for managing the OEMs consumables business.

“Today’s market for press equipment continues to be directed towards efficiency and flexibility,” said Elliott. “My time spent working with our customers in the world of service and support has uniquely qualified me to understand equipment needs from a perspective focused on reducing manufacturing costs and streamlining operations, without sacrificing quality or productivity.”

His experience moved him into a position managing printing operations throughout Australia. In 2003, as a Print Trainer for Manroland, he gained extensive insights into the unique needs of printers in North America, and soon moved to leadership positions throughout Manroland’s Service Department.
