After holding a successful Open House in October of 2015 to celebrate the installation of a Xerox Versant 2100 Digital Colour Press, NewTech Imaging Printing Services (Toronto) has made another investment in the form of a new OKI C942 five-colour (CMYK + White) Digital Printer.

NewTech Imaging Printing Services has been providing high-quality digital printing, graphic design, stationery, banners, poster printing, binding services and creative services for over 20 years. It can also accommodate unusual printing requests, customized solutions, gift ideas, promotional materials and more.

“We invested in the OKI 942 primarily because of its white-ink capabilities and the fact that it can easily print 13-inch by 52-inch banners and other similar applications, said Owner/Manager Patrick Nobili. “We’ll now be able to offer our new and potential customers exceptional five-colour printing and more colourful and impactful large-format options.”

Full-colour printing on coloured stocks is possible by laying down a white ink base layer first.

The compact OKI C942 5-colour (CMYK + White) Digital Printer allows for full-colour printing on vibrantly-coloured stocks by laying down a white ink base layer first – at speeds up to 50 pages per minute in a single pass.

Print quality can reach 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi and maximum capacity is 2,950 sheets (with two trays and a high-capacity feeder). Several media sizes can be accommodated, including 13” x 52”, 12” x 18”, 11” x 17”, Legal, Letter, Executive, 3” x 5”, A3, A4, A5, B5, C5, DL, Com 10 and envelopes.
