Montreal’s Pazazz Printing has become the first Canadian printer to offer HP Indigo ElectroInk Fluorescent Pink for the HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press series. In July of 2016, Pazazz was approached by to act as a beta site for testing HP’s new fluorescent inks in Canada. “This was a fantastic opportunity that I was enthusiastic to bring to my team,” said Shawn Werbitt, President of Pazazz’s Label Division.

Werbitt was first introduced to fluorescent pink inks at Dscoop in May of 2016 and instinctively knew it was a product that he wanted to offer to his clients. The company’s label division set out to promote the HP Indigo ElectroInk Fluorescent Pink with its own internal branding and marketing. To date, the response has been “nothing but positive,” said Pazazz. Clients and suppliers that have seen the labels have been very impressed by the sharpness and intensity of the colour, Werbitt added.

pazazzhpelectroink1-in“Pazazz’s use of the new HP Indigo ElectroInk Fluorescent Pink has been the most unique and eye-catching designs I’ve seen to date,” said Nick Gawreluk, Supplies Product Manager for HP Indigo North America. “The company’s quick adoption of the new technology will help them generate high-value applications and offer their customers an expanded variety of creative designs.”
