GSC Imaging (La Vergne, Tennessee), developer and toll manufacturer of high-performance digital water-based inkjet inks used in desktop and wide-format printer cartridges, has added to its line of aqueous wide-format compatible inks for Canon ImagePrograf Pro 1000, 2000, 4000 and 6000 series printers. The new inks are characterized as “plug and play” – which means colour matching is identical to the OEM’s original inks. “There’s no need to create ICC profiles,” said GSC. “When they run out of ink, simply replace the original cartridge with the refillable or re-manufactured cartridge.” GSC’s new compatible Canon ink also meets the OEM standards for colour, density, printhead life, image permanence and overall quality of output. In addition, the ink will dry and stick comparable to the original on almost all major types of media.

GSC part codes for its 11-colour pigment ink + Chroma Optimizer include W200 Cyan/W201, Magenta/W202, Yellow/W203, Blue/W204, Red/W205, Photo Cyan/W206, Photo Magenta/W207, Matte Black/W208, Photo Black/W209, Gray/W210 and Photo Gray/W211 Chroma Optimizer.

Founded in 2003, GSC Imaging is a U.S. developer and manufacturer of high quality compatible water-based digital inkjet inks. The company has a long history of using quality colourants, proven delivery systems using selected chemicals, and a comprehensive understanding of inkjet technology.
