Following the 2016 move of Rotoflex’s Canadian regional office to a new, larger 18,000-square-foot showroom and technology centre in Toronto, full production of new Rotoflex slitter/rewinders and die-cutting machines (formerly managed at Mark Andy’s headquarters location near St Louis, Missouri), has now transferred to Toronto as well. Continued sales growth over several years of Rotoflex’s offline finishing solutions, including the newly launched HSI, Vericut3 and Security Series, led to this expansion of its Canadian facility.
Kevin Gourlay, Vice President of Rotoflex, added: “The Rotoflex brand continues to be strongly focused on design and providing advanced solutions to respond to our customers’ businesses. With many legacy design experts and technical specialists in Toronto, having our Canadian facility fully operational with manufacturing was a logical move. Rotoflex is now well-positioned for future growth.”
The manufacturing capacity at Mark Andy resulting from the move will accommodate its substantial growth in the digital market, supporting demand for the company’s growing digital hybrid portfolio – including the award-winning production-level Digital Series, entry-level solution Digital One, and its Digital Plus program which offers digital retrofits to existing flexo platforms. Live machine demonstrations, retrofits and rebuilds, engineering development and technical support and services, are now all accessible from the Rotoflex Canadian facility.
With more than 8000 installations globally, Rotoflex is a world leader in inspection, slitting, rewinding and die-cutting equipment. Rotoflex equipment is supported globally by one of the largest OEM Customer Support teams in the industry.
A brand of Mark Andy, Rotoflex is an important aspect of the company’s Total Solution Partner strategy. The business is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with sales and distribution offices worldwide.
