HP’s new Everyday Blockout Display Film features a three-layer construction of polyester and polypropylene for “incomparable lay-flat properties,” said HP. The heavyweight film produces rigid, durable displays suitable for retractable banner stands and tradeshow graphics. Its state-of-the-art coating enables quick drying and is compatible with both HP DesignJet and HP Latex ink technologies. “HP Everyday Blockout Display Film is the right print solution for both latex and aqueous printers,” said Shaun Jaycox, Product Specialist for HP Large Format Print Media.
“This kind of ink versatility is unique to the industry – and combined with the environmental assurances and unique three-layer construction that eliminates curl – this film will open up new business opportunities for print providers.” The new film is also REACH compliant – assuring it contains no chemical substances that could be harmful to human health or the environment. A light-blocking opaque layer prevents show-through so viewers only see clean, crisp images. It’s currently available through Brand Management Group (BMG).
