Michael Steele and Dylan Westgate, partners at Canadian Print Finishing leader Sydney Stone, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, have announced their acquisition of Vertex Graphic and Business Equipment of Vancouver, British, Columbia. “Acquiring Vertex allows Sydney Stone to expand its footprint into a major market and provide Vertex customers with more choices, new programs and economies of scale that’ll help them to operate their businesses more efficiently. They’ll also continue to enjoy great service from Brad and Anne, people they’ve come to trust and rely upon,” Steele added. “Anne and I have made this decision in order to bring our customers a wider product range and additional programs, and to concentrate more specifically on our great service offerings. We’re looking forward to achieving great things with Michael and Dylan,” said Vertex co-owner Brad Munro.

Vertex supplies cutters, paper binding equipment, finishing equipment and supplies, office equipment, laminating supplies, pressroom chemicals and much more. Sydney Stone was established in 1951 and since that time, has grown to become one of the premier Canadian distributors of print finishing equipment and supplies throughout the world. Importing and representing brands such as Morgana, MOHR, EBA, Vivid, Watkiss and Duplo, to name a few, its focus is on the short-run and medium-run printing market. The company offers numerous cost-effective solutions to the challenges found in this popular segment.
