In booth 2355, Hans Shinohara Canada will be promoting its LC340S 19” x 13” sheetfed digital laser die cutter/engraver that’s ideal for short-run, custom-shaped labels, greeting cards, tags, package boxes, engraving on paper, wood, leather and much more. The fully automated, computer-driven sheetfed device with scoring capabilities, is ideal for printers who want to save time and money while improving cutting precision versus traditional mechanical die cutting. It automates the die-cutting process and is also able to handle small labels, short runs, multi-shaped digital labels, custom-shaped cards, prototypes, packaging and other projects that normally require more expensive mechanical dies. Its Optical Laser Tracking Systems ensures precise positioning. Users can also adjust the power and cutting speeds for different projects and materials, including special media. More laserheads can be added as needed. The model can also laser-engrave quickly and accurately on a wide variety of traditional and difficult substrates with ease – opening up exciting new product and revenue opportunities for commercial printers. Technical product brochures will be available.

The Print 17 tradeshow is the largest gathering of the printing, publishing, in-plant, graphic communications and mailing/fulfillment communities in the Americas.

It’s returning to Chicago September 10-14, 2017, once again at McCormack Place.
