FPA calls for entries for its 2019 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA, Annapolis, MD) has announced that the 2019 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards call for entries is now underway with a deadline of Monday, November 19, 2018. Currently available on the FPA website is an overview of the awards program and the competition rules – including eligibility requirements, entry fees and complete instructions on how to enter. Awards will be given in the following categories: expanding the use of flexible packaging, technical innovation, sustainability, printing and shelf impact and packaging excellence. All entries will be judged by an independent panel of packaging industry experts.

The FPA has conducted its annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition since 1956 to showcase the industry’s ongoing innovations and advances that have changed the face of the packaging industry worldwide. The competition is among the most respected in the industry due in part to the outstanding calibre of packaging entries, its objectives, its methodical judging process, and the extensive follow-up media coverage of the competition winners. “Its focus on new technologies, processes, printing techniques and sustainability of flexible packaging, places the Achievement Awards Competition in a class by itself,” said the organization.
