Boss Logo receivership scenario becomes much more complicated

On Tuesday, September 11 on this website we posted a news item saying that Markham-Ontario-based trade printer Boss Logo Print & Graphics is “apparently” in receivership. We said “apparently” because, at that time, sources reported receivership notices on its closed doors from MNP Limited, a licensed insolvency trustee based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. MNP never returned our phone calls to verify this. Subsequently, Boss Logo customers told us that they were told to pick up their print jobs at Mi5 Print & Digital Communications at 1550 Caterpillar Road in Mississauga, Ontario. Then abruptly last week, Boss Logo’s address was changed to 139 Basaltic Road in Concord, Ontario – the same address as MPI Print (formerly Millennial Printing). MPI Print has since confirmed Boss Logo’s presence there, but has provided no further details. Also, Boss Logo is “apparently” in receivership and not bankruptcy, according to other sources. We’ll do our best to keep you up to date.
