SwissQprint’s U.S. subsidiary to service the Canadian market

SwissQprint’s Karibu.

After the mutually agreed termination of the partnership with Cansel/Cobalt, swissQprint, manufacturer of large-format printers, is now in charge of the Canadian market through its U.S. subsidiary. Illinois-based swissQprint America will now be the contact partner for customers in Canada when it comes to swissQprint product, services and consumables. The U.S. subsidiary of the Swiss manufacturer of large-format printers has fully taken over its former partner, Cansel/Cobalt. Cansel/Cobalt will be concentrating on a different line of products, which is why the two companies mutually agreed to terminate their partnership. There will be experienced local sales and service representatives available in Canada, while the OEM’s showroom and warehouse will remain in Elgin, Illinois.

“Our well-trained and experienced team will guarantee short response times,” said Mike Kyritsi, President of swissQprint America. The OEM’s high-end UV inkjet wide-format printers are entirely developed and produced at its headquarters in Kriessern, Switzerland. The product range currently includes five modular flatbed printers available in different productivity levels.

Last month the company launched its first dedicated roll-to-roll printer,  the Karibu (above). It will make its debut in North America at the Printing United tradeshow in Dallas, Texas, October 23 – 25, 2019.
