Drytac Canada expands into new 70,000-square-foot premises

Drytac Canada (Brampton, Ontario), a leading international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the print, label and industrial markets, is moving its operations into a single, state-of-the-art facility spanning over 70,000 square feet. The new address for Drytac Canada will be 30 Driver Road in Brampton, Ontario. The new premises consolidates Drytac’s manufacturing and distribution facilities into one building to improve efficiency, and will accommodate its entire Canadian workforce under one roof. The move, which began June 21, will take place in stages to ensure uninterrupted production as well as supplies of products to customers, the company added.

The additional space also provides increased production and converting capacity for both roll and sheet products, 32-foot-high ceilings to allow storage of more raw materials and finished goods to keep up with demand, ten dock-level loading bays, and easier access from major roads and highways. The move to a larger building follows year-over-year growth since the acquisition of MultiTac in 2013, with more expansion predicted. The new premises will also feature improved research and development facilities to support Drytac’s innovations in adhesive science, while a demonstration centre and graphics academy, are planned for the future.

“The new state-of-the-art building in Brampton signals Drytac’s continued growth while improving overall efficiency and strengthening the Drytac team,” said Hayden Kelley, CEO of Drytac. “The phased move will ensure that our customers won’t notice any interruption to their service – only enhanced products and support.” In addition to window, wall and floor-graphic media, laminating films and mounting adhesives, Drytac’s key product areas include high-performance tapes, industrial adhesives and durable labels.
