Paradigm’s PIXis M-1700A1 Heat-Assist Laminator.

The Paradigm Imaging Group (Costa Mesa, California) has released its new PIXis M-1700A1 pneumatically adjustable heat-assist laminator. The M-1700A1 has pneumatically adjustable pressure and height adjustment via an included air compressor that ensures easy operation and workflow efficiency.

With a lamination width up to 64 inches and media thickness up to 1.1 inches, the new laminator is ideal for a wide range of applications and is capable of heavy-duty, roll-to roll operation that’s ideal for sign and graphics applications. The heated top roller eliminates silvering in finished products and has a speed of up to 22 feet per minute. An easy-to-use control panel and adjustable print guides make it much more operator friendly than comparable laminators.

“The PIXis M-1700A1 Laminator fills a need that many of our clients requested, and surpasses expectations for quality and performance,” said Randy Geesman, Paradigm Imaging Group President. “We anticipate a great deal of growth in sales.” The Paradigm Imaging Group is a distributor of wide-format printing equipment – including sign and graphics equipment and over 60 different models of scanners from over 6 different manufacturers.
