The North American print industry’s longest-running annual event, PRINT 19, took place October 3-5 at Chicago’s McCormick Place North. Bringing together printing industry professionals from over 80 countries, it featured a huge array of printing equipment and technology from over 240 exhibitors, over 80 timely educational sessions and a steady flow of traffic.
Some of the highlights included a keynote address from Nicholas Thompson, editor-in-chief of Wired, TechWalks (PRINT 19’s expert-led and curated exhibitor tours), along with this year’s “RED HOT Technology” recipients (41 products, solutions and technology from 22 winning exhibitors).
While 2019 was the last year of Print at McCormick Center, attendees can now look forward to Brand Print Americas 2020. This event was announced during PRINT 19, and will be a collaboration between Tarsus Group, the organizer of Labelexpo Americas, and the Association for PRINT Technologies. Brand Print Americas 2020 will be held at the Donald E.Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL from September 15-17, 2020. Co located with the 2020 edition of LabelexpoAmericas, Brand Print Americas will bring together the commercial print and the label converter communities and provide exhibitors and attendees an opportunity to explore
solutions that will enable them to expand their businesses.
Brand Print Americas is focused on the growth areas of print and how printers themselves are growing their businesses. Exhibitors will include manufacturers of technology that exist to facilitate putting ink on paper as well as materials that have not been printed on before. Also included are direct mail and other print providers that are finding their way into the mail stream, finishing machinery, workflow solutions, wide-format printer manufacturers, substrate and ink suppliers, software development.
