Kelly Signs of Ottawa, Ontario recently took their large-format services to an entirely new level of productivity, print quality and cost reduction by acquiring a new, large-format UV inkjet press – the Jeti Tauro H2500 LED from Agfa Graphics Canada. The visual communications specialist has been an integral part of a major sign organization that’s been operating successfully since 1947, and has grown into one of Canada’s largest real estate sign and full-service sign companies. It also offers large-format digital printing, construction signs, tradeshow displays, storefront and building signs, pylon signs, channel letters, banners, vehicle graphics and wraps, professional sign installations, servicing, repairs and much more. “We wanted to go to another level in large-format printing, increase our productivity and reduce our printing costs without affecting print quality,” said Howard Greenberg, Vice President of Kelly Signs. “That’s what we found in the Jeti Tauro from Agfa. This new investment will allow us to develop new business throughout Eastern Canada.

The Jeti Tauro H2500 LED is an 8-foot-wide industrial hybrid printer that can produce up to 76 boards an hour, depending on the application. It features an integrated roll-to-roll system and continuous, automated feeding of rigid and flexible media. Ideal for high-end sign and display printing with its UV LED curing, prints up to 2.54 metres wide, and print speeds up to 275 m2/hr., it can accommodate an extremely wide range of applications. Driven by Asanti workflow technology and optimized to work with Agfa’s high-pigmented UV inks, the H2500 outputs high-quality vivid prints on consistent basis.
