Print-finishing specialist Sydney Stone (Toronto), a leading Duplo dealer in Canada since 1996 offering sales and service nationwide with branches in Toronto and Vancouver, has been chosen the Duplo Canadian Dealer of the Year for 2019. The award recognizes the best in the industry based on growth and development, expertise and knowledge, and excellence in customer service. “This award not only represents the dealership’s overall sales performance, but is a reflection of the commitment of the entire sales and service team, to the first-class customer care and service they provide,” Duplo added. Duplo is a leader in print-finishing technologies such as its DDC 810 Spot UV coater, and more recently, the latest DC 618 slitter/cutter/creaser.

“Sydney Stone has worked hard to understand and promote these new technologies, and 2019 was an exciting year for us as we installed our third DDC 810 Spot UV Coater, along with some of the first installations of the successful and evolutionary DC 618,” said Michael Steele, President of Sydney Stone. “With our expert guidance, our clients have progressively grown to learn and capitalize on the extensive range of equipment offered by Duplo.”

Duplo manufactured one of the first duplicators in the printing industry when it was established in 1951 in Japan. The company is currently focused on developing a complete line of on-demand printing and finishing equipment, including innovative collating, booklet-making, perfectbinding, trimming, folding, cutting, printing/duplicating, bursting and creasing solutions. Under current ownership since 2008, Sydney Stone offers a range of print-finishing equipment and support services to the printing industry across Canada, helping its customers push creative limits while making it extremely cost-effective for them to do so. They’ve been highly successful in growing the market for Duplo equipment in Canada, as witnessed by this recent award.
