Kernow launches new FloorShark Dry Toner

Leading coatings and digital media specialist Kernow Coatings (Cornwall, UK) has launched the first floor graphics material that has been tested and certified for dry toner printing. Formulated for applications such as social distancing graphics, the new dry toner range is made from Kernow’s textured ultra-tough Sharkskin material and has a R10 Anti-Slip Rating. The product is ideal for quick and easy print jobs on laser printers and is also simple to apply and remove.

“Due to the popularity of KernowJet FloorSharK for latex and solvent printing, we’ve now introduced FloorSharK for Dry Toner, which brings with it all of the benefits of the original FloorSharK product,” said Bosy Colak, President at Kernow North America (Pittsford, NY). “This unique floor-graphic solution is perfect for indoor environments – including retail outlets and supermarkets, airports and travels hubs, and event and conference centres. It’s made of ultra-tough polyester, is scratch-resistant and water-resistant, and resilient to pallet trucks and heeled shoes. We’re delighted to have this product readily available along with samples for customers to try.”

Kernow added that, unlike many products on the market, FloorSharK has been rigorously tested and certified for slip resistance and to fire rating BFL-s1, making it “a superior product when it comes to safety.”
