The Board of Trustees of Canadian Print Scholarships (CPISTF, Toronto) has announced that Ryan Mair, Vice President of Print and Marketing at Staples, has joined its Board.
“The industry is more relevant than ever in a marketplace that’s grappling with a seismic shift in norms,” said Mair. “That’s why attracting talented young people to the roles that make up this exciting industry is so critical. The mission of Canadian Print Scholarships is well aligned to this purpose, and I’m excited to work alongside this team of industry leaders to achieve its goals.”
This September, Canadian Print Scholarships will be supporting studies for a record number of graphic communications students across the country. Success in this work depends on support from our industry. Donations can be made online at www.printscholarships.ca through an annual or monthly gift.
“Ryan brings a wealth of experience in production and retail print operations, as well as a unique perspective of the graphic communications industry,” said Jeff Ekstein, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Canadian Print Scholarships. The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and best students available to the printing and graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll them, and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved educational institution.
