Canadian-owned visual communication and brand marketing specialist TI Group of Toronto, in a corporate re-structuring this week, has appointed Renee Walsh to the position of President of its Commercial Print Group. She’ll now have full responsibilities for the sales and operations of this team, as well as the company’s Creative and Photo Studios. Walsh has been with TI Group since 2016 and has led its sales and business development efforts with several new customer successes, while also supporting its sales representatives in growing business with current customers.
The company also announced that Peter Spring has accepted the new position of President of its Retail Business Group. Spring will now lead this group – which includes sales, operations, merchandising, campaign management and customer interface technology initiatives. He’s been with the company since 1999, and has led several growth initiatives in retail and merchandising products and services. In a concurrent online statement, TI Group also announced that Michael Corbett, Vice-President of Operations, has left the company and added: “We want to sincerely thank Michael for his many efforts and contributions, and wish him success with his future opportunities.”
The re-organization will also affect the company’s TI Response Group – a marketing support business that provides turnkey solutions such as third-party fulfillment, kitting and packing, and postal services. Walsh and Spring will jointly manage this business segment as they execute their 2021 growth strategy. They’ll also meet shortly with all departments, outlining the details of the new organizational structure for each business unit, and communicate their initiatives to managers, supervisors and employees alike. Both will ultimately report to corporate ownership. The company added that this realignment represents “a critical element of our business strategy that will place focus and ultimately drive results that will position TI Group for a collective, sustainable future.”
