Accraply releases Sirius 100 Labeling System

Accraply’s new Sirius 100 pressure-sensitive labeling system.

The new Sirius 100 range of pressure-sensitive labeling systems from global manufacturer Accraply is specifically designed to meet the modern demands of today’s fast-moving, highly flexible production lines, said the company – adding that it’s transformed technology-driven linear labeling of its high speed systems into “an extremely cost-effective single and twin-head labeling solution.” Features include minimal downtime and reduced waste for higher profit margins, preventative maintenance alerts, video changeover assistance, and on-board troubleshooting, diagnosis and efficiency reporting. All major axes – including conveyor, stabilizer and wrap – are servo-driven, providing increased accuracy and product-handling flexibility. Global tech support is provided locally 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Sirius 100 can accommodate wrap labeling and front & back labeling, while featuring a low total cost of ownership.

Operators can choose from on-board, decentralized controls or an optional integrated full-colour HMI. The optional HMI features standard benefits that include centralized control for operator ease of use, a full record of operator actions and password compliance, product recipe management as standard, operator manual, electrical schematics and video tutorials stored within the HMI. The use of servo-controlled motion for all major axes provides users with greater flexibility of product-handling options and controls. Synchronized for precise speed matching, its label application and control systems work effectively “to control even the most difficult applications,” said the OEM. “Accraply recognizes the need for highly flexible, highly configurable, quick-changeover lines. The extensive use of tool-less changeovers and scales make the Sirius 100 Series an extremely fast machine to configure and change. Accraply’s Canadian office is located in Burlington, Ontario.
